Joyce Smith has been studying with Walter Bartman, Christine Lashley and Maud Taber-Thomas at the Yellow Barn studio since 2001. Her paintings have been exhibited in juried shows at the Yellow Barn Studio and the Yarmouth Arts Festival. They have sold in Washington, DC, and Bath, Me.
Her style is interpretive realism using oils on canvas and board. She paints both plein air and studio portraits.
